Museum is a non-formal educational institutions can provide a lot of learning for humans. Museum is a means of studying and learning without taking the role of teacher. The existence of the museum is able to answer questions that arise in the learning process, especially with regard to the history of human development, geology, culture and environment. However, there are some problems that often hamper the achievement of the function of the museum one of which is a collection that has not been interactive demonstration. Demonstration collection of interactive yet is one of the factors the lack of learning experiences gained by the visitors. Learning that takes place in the museum is generally only involve the realm of hearing, seeing, or seeing and hearing. One way to help overcome these problems is to develop applications of Virtual Museum of Indonesia (VMI) web-based. Opportunities provided by VMI applications are interactive learning games such as simulation of learning that can take place anytime, anywhere even in schools as formal educational institutions.
